We'll have our 2009 Annual Awards Banquet and Party on Saturday, February 20 at the Charleston Crab House on James Island from 3pm-6pm.
Please join us for oysters, chili and awards!

SSC-ESA's 2009 SC Governor's Cup of Surfing/21st Annual SC State Surfing Championships was a huge success!

2009 McKevlin's Gromfest Results.
Thanks to everyone who helped make Contest #4/McKevlin's Gromfest an awesome weekend! Congratulations to BRYANT THOMAS, Open Grom Champion! Bryant won a Chili shortboard from McKevlins Surf Shop. McKevlin's also provided cool prizes and plaques for all of our grom finalists.
Summer of Surf Results
THANK YOU CHARLESTON WATERSPORT OUTFITTERS and DAVE CLIFFORD, for making our SSC Contest #3 into a really memorable and fun Summer of Surf II.
Despite the small conditions and brutal temperatures up to 102 degrees, we all had a great time and were very excited to welcome our friends from the Northern South Carolina District who came to surf with us.
We also added Open Stand Up Paddle & Menehune Stand Up Paddle Divisions, with Kai Dilling taking first place in Open and Evan Runion from NSC winning the Menehune.

SURF SWAP & SELL at McKevlins side parking lot on Saturday, April 4th from 10am-6pm.
Thank you to Tim McKevlin for allowing SSC to use their space for this really fun time.
We sold a LOT of stuff and look forward to making this an annual event.
Please note. Starting this
season, you must fill out your
own contest entry. Yes, this
means everyone!
We will put all the late fees into a fund and will award a very special prize for the Top Judge of 2010.
We will be unable
to fill in any surfer's contest entries,
or accept any "can you
put me in the contest?"
calls.
Everyone will need to purchase
their own parking passes. It's 1.00 per hour.
